Vienna — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, engaging youth, families and educators via street information stands and event-based activities. The Vienna effort is drug prevention Austria led by Gabriele Toker, a local organiser, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to provide clear information on drug risks, including the ongoing debate around cannabis, often cited as Europe’s most commonly used illicit drug. Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, with visibility at major public events, including the Donauinselfest, while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Prevention works best when young people receive verified information early, in plain language—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
